Hi, everyone! How was your weekend? Mine was pretty good. My hometown had their annual fireworks last night and they were incredible. I come from a small city where everyone knows everyone else’s business. For as long as I can remember, there has been a fireworks display. Then one year we found out that there was a $17,000 debt because of the fireworks. So there was one, possibly two, years that we had none. Somehow they managed to get back in the black and get back on with it. The same people do them every year, voluntarily, and handle the fundraising and donation efforts. This year’s display was spectacular! I’d honest to god put them up against any large city’s display. ANY. They are that good! Okay, enough of my jawing. Let’s get down to the polish that sparkles like a firework!

Ring My Belle by Octopus Party Nail Lacquer

This beauty here is Ring My Belle and was one half of Octopus Party Nail Lacquer’s 2016 Holiday Duo. I’ve used this polish in nail art, but it never got the full display it deserved until now. I know many of us with large polish collections see a silver holo and it doesn’t really move us anymore. Well, I should have known there’d be something MORE to it, being created by Dave of OPNL. I have 2 pictures of this polish and neither will do it justice. It has a silver sparkle to it. No matter what lighting it’s in, it’s not just silver- it’s scintillating.

Ring My Belle by Octopus Party Nail Lacquer

The day I had this on there was no sun out until we went to my mom’s for a picnic. I could finally get my nail pics! So I’m out in the grass snapping away, and guess what? They were freaking laughing at me! How the heck do they think I get pictures for my pages?! I don’t just pull them out of my butt! The things we go through for our craft…. lol Can I also tell you guys….whenever I think about this polish, the song Ring My Bell by Anita Ward plays in my head. I don’t simply think “Ring My Belle”, it always runs through in song. I’m weird. hahaha

So this is 2 coats of Ring My Belle. The formula is superb as usual from OPNL. You seriously can’t go wrong with Octopus Party. He nails it every. time. Dave doesn’t have this stocked and I’m not sure if it will make a return. But- he does have 9 beauties in his shop at the moment, which is usually unheard of. His stuff sells quick!
