Hello, everyone! It’s Monday, but many of you are off since it’s also Labor Day! The nugget and I will be going to my mom’s for a picnic. I, of course, made my Pasta Salad!
PRESS SAMPLE
The end of last week I did a little swatching for Lucky 13 Lacquer, who makes some real beauties! I bought one of my favorite polishes from her called Cherokee Rose, inspired by The Walking Dead. It was when Accio Lacquer was still blogging (I’m not the only one that misses her blog, right?) and on there was this gorgeous white crelly with gold glitters in it. It was actually one of the first in a handful of indies I owned at the time. Okay, enough of me boring you with my nail stories!
The polish I’m showing you today is Ride Eternal, Shiny and Chrome, inspired by the movie Mad Max Fury Road. This scene in particular-
Ride Eternal is described on Lucky 13’s website as “densely packed silver holo glitters in a clear base.”

This polish is a bit like a Zoya Pixie Dust, except I don’t think the Zoyas work as just a top coat like this does. Here I did 2 medium coats of Ride Eternal to get it fully opaque. On my ring finger I used her thermal polish, Luna Landing, as an accent with one light coat of Ride Eternal, Shiny and Chrome over it. I think this makes it a quite versatile polish to have. Below is Ride Eternal with no top coat- just its natural texture.

Now here it is with one coat of top coat:

I was pretty surprised when one coat of the top coat smoothed this out. It’s just a crazy, dazzling glitter polish! I love a good sparkler and this one is KAPOW! in your face sparkly! Also the name- isn’t it poetic? The formula was beautiful- no problems at all. And, like I said, it was 2 medium coats for opacity. Here are some more shots in various lighting-

All in all, it’s a glitter lover’s dream (psssst, I’m a glitter lover!). If I hadn’t done the accent nail to show it as a topper, I probably would’ve done some stamping in black over it.
I’m going to have more L13L to show you over the next few days, all lovely. In the meantime, you can head to www.lucky13lacquer.com to see this and other polishes.
Thanks for stopping by the blog!
Much better with a topcoat, helps fetch out the extra sparkles. ♡

That’s what I think too.

So sparkly! I like that it’s sheer enough to be a top coat.

Glitter bombs are always good! This looks like it is textured like a PixieDust.

It is textured that way, and, by some miracle, smooth with one coat of top coat.

Very pretty! It definitely has that pixie dust vibe to it, although I’ve never gotten a pixie dust smooth with just top coat.

The gritty glittery textured finish is something I love. It’s insanely gorgeous as is and top coated and I love that it can be used as a topper! Excellent!

Ohh, I love this! I definitely like it with the top coat, makes it seem a bit more like jewels, y’know?

Yes! Anya compared it to CG’s Fairy Dust in the listing, but I think it’s prettier.
