Hi, everyone! How are you all? My house smells divine…my lilacs have bloomed! It’s more like a tree than a shrubbery at this point. It’s pretty much the only plant I haven’t killed. Oh, I forgot about the blackberry bush. That thing is a monster that needs desperately to be trimmed!

Today’s item is a Born Pretty stamping plate. I loved it as soon as I set eyes on it! It’s all types of wood.
Born Pretty Plate BP-158 order # 40206
I know this isn’t the greatest image. I was really struggling with this shot!
Born Pretty Plate BP-158 order # 40206
To begin, I did one coat of Orly’s Penny Leather, which I think is a super unique shade. It makes me think of a super luxe leather couch. That went on very nicely and was opaque in just that one coat! Next, I stamped with Maybelline Color Show’s Bold Gold. After that dried, I used Funky Fingers Dark Knight.
Born Pretty Stamping Plate BP-158 order # 40206
On 4 of my fingers, I used the image that looks like nailed down wood planks. That image didn’t pick up so well. I still think it looks neat, but seeing those actual planks would have been nice. On my ring finger, I used the image that looks like the top of a tree stump (not the center one- the cracked looking one). That one picked up nicely. I have used the other images and they work fine as well. It’s just that plank one for me. Sucks that one image didn’t pick up so well but still I really like the look you created. 😊

This is very pretty, I like the grain designs. You did great with it despite the pick up issue.

Really good wood grain plates are hard to find. I love this one!

So cool! I love the shattered glass look! For me, BP plates are hit or miss – I’ve gotten ones that are too shallow and then others are perfect. You did great despite the shallow etching.

Well, I love this plate! I sometimes find that ONLY stamping polishes work on these plates and not polishes that conveniently stamp if that makes sense.
