Halloween Nails with Supernatural Lacquer

Hi, all! I hope your week got off to a good start. Things are same old, same old here. We were going to carve our pumpkin last night, but the nugget had a bad headache and then got sick. I’m hoping he makes it to school today and also that he’s okay for Trick-or-Treat tomorrow.

I’ve got Halloween nails! I recently got my Supernatural Lacquer Polish Con VIP polish in the mail. For some reason, no one from VIP Plus had one in their bags. It’s this pink-leaning orange with blue shimmer with tiny black flake shreds. It’s very different and as soon as I opened it, I knew I had to use it for my Halloween nails!

Hmmmm. That picture is looking pretty blurry and I’m not sure why. Let’s try another, shall we?

I think it might be the shimmer making them look this way. They looked good when I was editing….

So as I said above, this is a pink leaning orange with blue shimmer and tiny black flake shreds. It went on opaque in 2 coats and the formula was fantastic.

The polish dries to a satin finish, which is my least favorite finish. However, for some reason it really worked with this polish. It was really pretty. I had to top coat it, though, so you’re seeing 2 coats with 1 coat of top coat.

For this, I used Funky Fingers (which you can buy at Five Below) Dark Knight to stamp, using Born Pretty plate BP-L057. When that was dry, I misted my nails with aerosol hair spray, which forms a protective barrier and keeps the black from streaking. I finished it all off with Lucky 13 Lacquer‘s We’re All Matte Here.

These turned out pretty cute. I’m going to attempt another Halloween mani before Wednesday the 31st. I was going to do them last night, but as I said, the nugget got sick.

Thanks for stopping by!
