Pretty Scary Cosmetics Loose Powder!

#PRESS SAMPLES

Hello, everyone! Hope your week is going well! For the last couple days I’ve been working on getting swatches for indie company Tomb Service. They have a subdivision of their company called Pretty Scary Cosmetics and their overall vibe is sorta goth, but lots of fun. We’re about to get picture heavy up in here!

I was contacted on Instagram by Shelly of Tomb Service about swatching their gel powders. I thought it would be fun, so I said yes! They sent me 18 powders, some eye shadow applicators to apply powder, and some Liquid Nail Tape (liquid latex) that smells like Cotton Candy. It is DIVINE. They also threw in a couple magnets and a sticker, stuff that I love to get! It all came in this really cute bag with their logo printed on it. It was a fun package to receive!

The powders are comprised of 2 sets (Sexy set and Pirate set) and some one-offs. Today I am going to show you all the 4 powders in the Sexy Set. Each manicure is shown with a base coat of OneDor no wipe gel polish, one layer of the powder and then one layer of Born Pretty no wipe gel top coat.

Vivacious from Pretty Scary Cosmetics

First up is Vivacious!

Vivacious is described on their site as a coppery red. It’s a pretty foxy color if you ask me!

Next up is Risqué, which is described as lavender purple.

Next up is Kinky, which is described as a rose pinky-red on Tomb Service’s site. I think it comes across as a delicate pink. Very pretty.

Finally, we have Burlesque to round out the Sexy Set of Pretty Scary’s powders. On the site, Burlesque is described as a bright red.

All in all, I was pretty impressed with the coverage you get with no base color! They sell for $13.99 a piece, which isn’t too bad considering one manicure barely makes a dent in the 2.5 gram pots you get. If you like the whole Sexy Set, you can save by buying the group for $50. If you are interested in grabbing one of these or wanna check out the other colors (which I will be reviewing), head to www.etsy.com/shop/TombService. Besides what I’ve shown you, they carry clothing, jewelry, make up, and several other fun things. You can also save 15% if you use code sparklepusspolish! They ship almost everywhere worldwide, but no P.O. boxes.

Hope you all liked today’s post! I will catch you tomorrow with some of the powders in Pretty Scary’s Pirate Set.

Thanks for stopping by!
