Emerald Illusion

Hey, everyone! How was your weekend? Mine had its ups and downs. Saturday night I had a game night planned with friends. I ended up with one of the worst migraines I’ve had in some time. I mean, there are no good migraines, but this one was a doozy. I ended up cancelling game night. My migraine thankfully disappeared by Sunday morning. We got a tree and ended up decorating for most of the day.

So, the weekend’s polish….I got it a little while ago and I figured now was the perfect time to showcase it. Here is Emerald Illusion by Colors by Llarowe

This shifty beauty goes from emerald to teal to navy. It gives off a really beautiful glow.

Emerald Illusion has a nice, smooth formula and is opaque in 2 coats.

Overall, an absolute stunner of a polish! If you love green, you need to search this baby out. It was a polish of the month in Llarowe’s facebook group- CbL Addicts Are Us. Llarowe has a shit ton of gorgeous polishes. I don’t own many, because I was devoted to other brands….if you’re into indies, you’ll understand what I mean. There are so many great brands out there and only so¬†few dollars in your pocket. When LeAnn puts out something super special, like this one, I try to snatch it up. Two thumbs up from me!

Flashback Friday Christmas!

Hi, everyone! Happy Friday! Tonight we’re taking the nugget on a holiday train ride. We’ve been going for the past 5 or 6 years and has become a staple in our holiday traditions. It’s good family fun! Saturday night is Game Night at our house. It’s been a long time since I’ve had one and it’ll be good to catch up with friends.

So, this Flashback Friday is from about 4 or 5 years ago. It was right after I started swatching for Gothic Gala Lacquers. She had a really lovely Christmas set including the two polishes I used in this mani.

Please forgive the terrible picture quality. Blue Christmas is a wonderfully squishy blue jelly with blue and silver glitters. Silver Bells is a typical silver polish, but very well done. Gothic Gala pumped out sophisticated polishes like no one’s business. This is one of the very first Christmas nail arts I had ever done.
