Hi, everyone! I am totally dreading taking my cat to the vet today. I won’t gross you out with the deets, but I always make evening appointments, so the baby daddy can come along to help me. Instead, I had to take a morning appointment and go alone. And that’s all I’m saying about that. I don’t want you to lose your breakfast.

So today’s polish is Stone of Power by Lucky 13 Lacquer. Guys, when I pulled this out of the box, I oohed and aahed. And there are 5 other polishes like this one in different colors!

The polish is inspired by the Infinity stones of the Marvel Universe. The one I think of right away is the infinity stone in Guardians of the Galaxy, because the movie was pretty much based around the stone.

This polish is described on L13L’s site as “full-coverage tiny dark orchid holo glitters in a squishy purple jelly base.” It’s also UV reactive and glow in the dark. I don’t have any glowing pics, but the venerable Sloppy Swatches has a couple on Lucky 13’s listing of this polish. Here’s a shot with some holo action:

My pictures really do not show the intricate beauty of this polish. When I laid eyes on it, I felt like Sméagol may have when he first saw his precious. It’s that lovely.

This polish goes on opaque in 2 coats and the formula is perfection. And guess what, guys? Guess! The price of all the Infinity Stones has been knocked down from $10 to $7!
