Hello, all! I hope the first half of your week is going well. It is hot as Hades here in Central PA. Okay, it’s not Arizona hot, but it’s bad enough! The more I weigh, the worse it gets, lol. I’m here in my room with 2 fans going, drinking iced lemon water trying to keep cool. As I mentioned in Monday’s post, I am doing a flashback week because I am swatching. I’ve done a lot of manis, so even if you followed me on Facebook or Instagram, there’s a pretty good chance you won’t remember these anyway.
Gothic Gala Lacquers- Carnation
This is a former press release I did for Gothic Gala Lacquers. Unfortunately, GGL closed its doors last year, so this polish is not available. You may be able to find some Gothic Gala in people’s destashes if you’re lucky. I loved Samantha’s polishes. This one was part of a floral themed collection. Carnation is a pretty sage green with a subtle holo to it. It took 2 coats to get full opacity.
As for the nail art, I used Pueen plate Pueen39, part of the Love Elements collection. The polish I used to stamp was GGL’s Basic White. The iridescent rhinestones are from Born Pretty. I tried to use them in like a sort of flight path of the butterfly. I think the idea came across okay. I really liked how this mani turned out. If you want to grab any nail art supplies from Born Pretty, you can use my code LESLIEW10 for 10% off of regular priced items. They have a wide array of products.
I hope you all like this. Thanks for checking out the blog!
This is so pretty! It’s simple and not too crazy, but definitely leaves an impression.

I love that grey green base. Too bad they aren’t in business anymore.

It’s hot as hell here, too! My chubby ass was not made for this heat, lol. But this mani is gorgeous and I’m loving that succulent green!
