Rhinestone Nail Art

Press Sample

Hi, everyone! I have some good news I wanted to share with you all! I was selected to be one of the swatchers for Literary Lacquers’ reopening collection!

I had filled out their blogger application and didn’t really expect to get picked. Those of you following me from Facebook and Instagram may remember that I swatched for Gothic Gala before Samantha closed shop and for Dave of Octopus Party Nail Lacquer. As a book lover, I’m very excited to collaborate with LL on polishes inspired by literature. You should be seeing swatches from me in several weeks! On to today’s post- Nail Art!

This is the nail polish I posted yesterday from Born Pretty.  These rhinestones are another item that Cynthia from Born Pretty sent to me to review. Whenever Cynthia sends me a link to the items I can choose to review, I usually pick rhinestones or studs. I’m like a magpie- I just can’t resist the sparkly.

These are a really cool blue and green iridescent color. They’re item #39412, selection 6. They come in 6 different finishes- I’ll be showing another of those finishes in nail art in the near future. These are really easy to put on. I did a top coat of slower drying polish and then placed them on the nail with a dotting tool that had some top coat on it. When they were all placed and the polish was dried, I added another coat of top coat on every nail. I did these yesterday and they’re still on pretty well today even after washing my hair and what not.

I hope you all like my nail art and thanks for visiting the blog!

P.S. You may have noticed my fonts are all wonky. Ugh. Working on it!
