Throwback Thursday

Hello, everyone! How’s your week going? I went to see Pirates of the Caribbean the other night. I thought it was pretty good- definitely better than the last one. My boyfriend, though, thought it was the weakest movie in the franchise. He’s a really huge fan.

So, yeah, he loves the series, lol. I’m pretty sure Dead Man’s Chest is his favorite movie ever. This one was really good, though, and I definitely recommend seeing it! Onto the polish!

Today I have an older mani to show you. It’s galaxy nail art. I wanted to show you guys something different than what I’ve been showing you.

Galaxy Nail Art

I used many polishes for this. I started out with 2 coats of Zoya Storm. Then I started using small pieces of make up sponge for the rest.  I first put on Salon Perfect- Sugar Cube (white) and then moved onto colors- Pure Ice’s No Means No, All Night Long, and Celestial; Octopus Party Mail Lacquer’s My Kingdom For Glitters. I topped it off with a coat of China Glaze’s Fairy Dust, added some white dots for stars and some loose silver glitters also for stars.

Galaxy manis are really easy to do. You just kind of haphazardly sponge on colors. They’re pretty hard to screw up! If you have any questions about doing a mani like this, feel free to ask in the comments below!

I hope you all liked this nail art and thanks for visiting!

  1. Beautiful! I’ve learned that galaxy manis are a simple way to get a dramatic look when you’re in a creative rut. I did one last week and I really didn’t want to take it off when it started to wear/chip.
