Hi, all! Today I am getting everything together to go see my BFF in Virginia with my nugget! I’m a little worried about how I’m going to handle this- I can only sit semi-comfortably for about 15 minutes. We’ll be going halfway, spending the night at a hotel, and then finishing the drive on Friday. I’ll be there for several days. My nugget doesn’t like being away from home for a night even, so I’m hoping my presence will curb that. Anyway, enough of the boring details!
Today I have nail art! I did an art! I used the polish from yesterday’s post while doing this.
Grimes by Octopus Party Nail Lacquer with nail art.
For this, I used a bunch of doodads from the same gold and silver studs wheel from Born Pretty. I was really excited about the crosses in this wheel. And the bars! I was pumped to get this one. I applied them onto top coated wet nails. They stayed okay for the time being. I didn’t put these through an endurance test, though. I was ready to get to my next nail art! I have to confess- these were REALLY hard to photograph. I don’t know if it was that my camera couldn’t handle the WOW of the polish or what.
I thought it turned out pretty cool looking.

The nail polish is lovely and I do think the gold pairs nicely, but I’m not loving the actual gold bars.

When I ordered them I thought they’d be smaller. I’d been hoping to do something closer to the delicate Japanese nail art, like Neiru.
