Press Samples ahead
Hi, everyone! We’re finally cruising to the end of the week! So I told you guys about our rescue kitten that was scared. Well, yesterday morning he was eating, drinking, meowing, purring and making biscuits! He’s still scared, but this is huge progress!
Some of you guys know that Amy from Literary Lacquers took some time away from her brand. Well, at the end of June she came back with polishes old and new! Today I have 2 older polishes that she keeps stocked in her shop. Right now I’m going to show you Desdemona’s Handkerchief.
Desdemona’s Handkerchief by Literary Lacquers
Desdemona’s Handkerchief, inspired by Othello, is described as “A pastel aqua creme polish, best at 2 thicker or 3 thin coats.” in the shop. This polish applied very nicely and was opaque in 2 coats. Guys, I am loving this color. It would be a perfect polish for beach themed nails!
I also did some nail art with this. I thought would make a cute vintage-y look.

For this, I just used some white striping tape and mini bows from Born Pretty.
Next up is Breathing Dreams Like Air. I am a gray lover, so this one was right up my alley.

This polish is described in LitLaq’s shop as “A neutral lilac-grey creme finish inspired by The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald.” Yet another great formula from Amy. This polish applies beautifully and is opaque in 2 coats. This is such a unique polish. To me I thought it leaned a little mauve. If you like grays, you’ll want to add this one to your collection!
I also did some nail art with Breathing Dreams like air.

For this look, I used Born Pretty silver stamping polish. The plate I used is Winstonia’s W403.
