Hello, all! Yay, it’s the weekend! I don’t have too many plans for today, but tomorrow we are taking a bus trip to the Statue of Liberty. I’ve been to NYC about a dozen times, but I have never seen the statue. My nugget is a little freaked out about taking the ferry because he is afraid of drowning, but I think once he gets on it he’ll enjoy it. Hopefully he doesn’t get seasick.

For the trip, I know I want to do copper nails since that’s what the Statue of Liberty is made of. I’m thinking Essie’s Penny Talk, but not sure how I want to use it. I did really cool water marbling with it once over white- when you drop some in and then spray it with hairspray? It looked pretty cool. I’m going to have to brainstorm today!

Onto today’s reason for posting! I decided I wanted to stamp a floral image over Different Dimension’s Once Upon A Time. I looked through many stamping plates and decided to use MoYou London’s Flower Power collection plate 05. The polish I used is Konad’s special white stamping polish.

This was actually the second image I attempted over this. The first time I used a negative image stamping (not sure what you call it) where the image is your base color. It looked really sloppy, so I swiped it off with some non-acetone remover and stamped this image on. I have a tip for you guys out there that don’t know a whole lot about stamping. Make sure you put on a top coat before you stamp. This way, if you make a mistake, the remover will just take off the top coat and not your polish underneath.
