Butterfly Dance!

Hi, everyone! Hope your week is going well! I have a busy day ahead of me! I need to pick up a few things for the kitties and then try to find something to wear to 2 christenings this month. I haven’t had much luck since I gained weight finding nicer outfits. I’ve stuck to t shirts, flannels, and sweaters. I’m going to Target for shape wear, and hopefully will find something nice there, at Kohl’s or at TJ Maxx. Besides that, guess what? It snowed today! I am a big snow lover, especially because I don’t have to shovel it.

So onto this nail polish! I saw a promo on Facebook that if you paid $5 for shipping, Northern Nail Polish would send you a free polish. Now this is a new-to-me brand I’d never heard of, so I figured I’d give it a try. Yesterday, I received my package and inside was a mini of their polish- Butterfly Dance, which is also known as Native American Ladies Fancy Shawl Dance.

The site describes this polish as “Fuchsia pink polish with periwinkle shimmer and magenta holographic micro glitters.” This is a perfect description of what is on my nails. The formula was a tad on the thick side, but still applied nicely. It took 2 coats to achieve opacity.

The polish dries to a textured finish because of the glitters, but one coat of top coat smooths that out. All in all, this is a very nicely done polish that’s even prettier in person. I think this spells trouble for me! I so did not need to add another polish to my list of indies, but I’ll definitely have my eye on Northern Nail Polish in the future!

Thanks for stopping by the ol’ bloggo.
