Hi, everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend! Mine sucked, lol. I had a migraine, so I stayed in my pjs all weekend. I did watch the Super Bowl, however. Usually I do Super Bowl nails. This year I loved the nails I already had on, so I skipped the football nails for this year.
What did I have on that I loved so much you may be wondering? I had on Forgot the Crystals by Stella Chroma from January’s Gemstone themed Polish Pickup. What is the Polish Pickup you may also by wondering, lol. Well, it’s when 70+ indie brands are given a theme as voted on by the polish lovers. With that theme, they get an inspiration pic and make a polish based on that. Here’s Stella Chroma’s inspo pic for Gemstones-
Napoleon Dynamite
LOL! What does this have to do with Crystals and Gemstones? This is the scene where Napoleon finds Uncle Rico’s “time machine”. He realized he had forgotten to add the crystals to make it work….then he got a pretty bad shock to his package… Here’s the beautiful polish that came of this-

Forgot the Crystals is a very light, dainty pink with pink shimmer and tiny holo flakies. It’s opaque in 2-3 coats, depending on how thick you make them. You can see some of my free edge in these pictures. It’s not visible in person. I did 2 medium-thick coats. The formula is fantastic. Unfortunately, you can’t get this one anymore. But if you join the group PPU BST (Polish Pick-up buy, sell, trade), you can put out an ISO (in search of) for any polish you miss during the previous pick-ups.

This is my first purchase of a Stella Chroma polish and I am impressed! It’s the perfect shade to wear to work if you have a stricter dress code. When you go outside, you get the holo! I have some more pics of this beauty in different lighting and then some nail art!

I absolutely love how this turned out. To stamp, I used Funky Fingers- Dark Knight and plate BP-61 from Born Pretty. That plate is full of awesome heart images. I especially love the one I used here. For my accent nail, I used some tiny black hearts, also from Born Pretty. They’re in a wheel with other various shapes in black.
Please forgive the wonky index nail. That sucker just keeps peeling and tearing. Also, I’ve been moisturizing like mad, so I don’t know why my skin looks so dry in these pics. I will try to do better next time!
Thank you for stopping by the blog!
This is so delicate and you stamping is so elegantly done ♡

Me too. One of my favorite parts is when Uncle Rico hits him in the face with the steak.
