For one whole week, I devoted my time to testing out Pretty Beautiful Unlimited’s new cuticle oils! What a difference! (As I was typing out the scent list below, I got hit with the stench of a spraying skunk coming through the window fan!!! Irony?)

Before I did anything, I took a picture of what my nails looked like.

My fingers and cuticles are dry and you can see peeling on 2 of my nails. My nails typically do this. They are also usually very weak. When I go to grasp something, chances are that my hand slips and a nail rips. All the damn time.

Here you can see my fingers and cuticles are looking more hydrated and the peeling is only noticeable on my index finger. I had been applying PBU’s cuticle oils every 6 hours for 2 days.

You can just barely see where my index nail was peeling. That was not noticeable to the naked eye! My fingernails hadn’t peeled at all since I started using the cuticle oils and I also had NO ripping!!!! This was one week of using the oil approximately every 6 hours.

After a week of doing this and photographing the results, I got lazy. I didn’t use it for 3 days. Guess what happened? My nails started peeling again and one of my nails broke while digging clothes out of the hamper. I’m once again in the nub club AND making sure I am applying BPU’s cuticle oils religiously. This stuff seriously makes a huge difference!

Pretty Beautiful Unlimited’s 10ml Unicorn Tip Squeeze Bottle Cuticle Oils

You can purchase these oils in 2 different applicator styles. There’s the rollerball that we’re all familiar with. The other is a Unicorn Tip which PBU lists as a squeeze bottle. I am in love with the squeeze bottles! You just squeeze (duh) out the oil and you can use a drop or you can squeeze to get more out as you like. I just put one drop at the bottom of each nail and rubbed it in! Below is the list of scents. I’ll write in my opinion after the ones that I personally got to try. Also, the scent subtly sticks around after a couple of hand washings.

List of Scents

Berry Vanilla- An enticing aroma of wild blueberry, bergamot, blackberry, vanilla cream, raspberry sugar and buttermilk musk.

Bird of Paradise- Pink jasmine and sheer musk combined with juicy strawberry, pomegranate and creamy vanilla.  I thought this had a strong, enjoyable fruity scent!

Birthday Cake- Celebrate with this blend of rich, creamy vanilla and a scrumptious cake accord. Smelled just like birthday cake ought to!

Black Sangria- Refreshing black grapes, orange, black plum, berries, apple, and pineapple drenched in chilled red wine.

Blackberry Ombre- Summer’s favorite fruits blended with cool vanilla sugar, coconut, and buttercream.

Coconut Lime Verbena- A tantalizing fusion of fresh coconut, lime, and invigorating verbena soothed by luscious vanilla.

Cotton Candy- This fragrance is wonderfully sweet and delightful! You can almost taste the soft, sticky spun sugar at the fairgrounds. Surprisingly light and not overpowering pleasant cotton candy scent!

Creamsicle- A scrumptious blend of creamy vanilla, juicy orange, sweet pineapple, and maraschino cherry.

Cucumber Twist- Cucumber peel, lime leaves, and fennel add a crisp element to the soft violet blossom undertone. Nice, light scent. Can definitely pick up on the violet undertone!

Cut Grass- The wonderful fresh aroma of freshly cut green grass. A very crisp, refreshing scent!

Gardenia Lily- The fresh floral aroma of summertime gardenias and elegant lilies. Light and fresh floral scent!

Hyacinth- A gorgeously complex fragrance that combines hyacinth with the leafy green notes typically found in the entire plant. I thought this description was right on the nose!

Kisses In the Dark- Mirabella plum, black raspberry amber, lush peony, vanilla bean, mush and fresh spun cotton candy. I could definitely smell a delicate amber and musk scent with a little bit of sweetness!

Lilac- This sweet floral smells like true lilacs in full bloom.

Passionfruit Rose- Passionfruit Rose is an exotic floral that is ideal for refreshing the long, hot days of summer. Crisp, sweet, and modern.

Peach- As rich and juicy as the juiciest peach picked straight from the tree in the Georgia Peach orchard.

Raspberry Rose Hibiscus Tea- Fill your senses with this romantic blend and share the joy with your loved ones! Deep red hibiscus is infused with sweet, ripe raspberries and delicate rose petals. Raspberry is the most prominent scent with undertones of rose. After the oil is on for a little while, the rose becomes more noticeable!

Strawberry Thyme Lemonade- Cool and refreshing lemonade with sliced strawberry, ripe raspberry, and candied apple gets a trendy twist with a sprig of thyme. More fruity at first, and then a refreshing thyme scent becomes more prominent!

Tulips In Bloom- Fresh as a spring day with notes of tulip, green grass, and fresh air.

Violets and Violas- A meadow of misted violets and jasmine are warmed by amber woods and softened by sheer musk.

Seriously, how yummy is that scent list? I had a REALLY hard time picking which ones to review! How about an ingredients list next?

Jojoba Oil- thought to act as a moisturizer & improve skin elasticity and suppleness.

Sweet Almond Oil- Thought to have excellent penetrating qualities.

Avocado Oil- Thought to have moisturizing attributes while having a low chance of clogging skin pores.

Neem Oil- Very popular oil because it is thought to have many natural uses. Also used in many retail skin creams and cosmetics.

Wow! Have I overloaded your brain with information yet?  I found out about Pretty Beautiful Unlimited through a charity polish Box that I ordered through Parrot Polish. I thought her polish was stunning and wanted to know more! I saw she had a blogger application on her shop site and figured why not apply? Not long after, Virginia emailed me about trying her cuticle oils! Every one that I tried smelled amazing! Let me end by saying that this cuticle oil worked miracles on me! My nails ALWAYS peeled, ripped, and broke. Not while using these oils, though!
