Fun In the Sun Flamingo Nails!

Hey, everyone! Long time, no blog! The reason I’ve been MIA is that I’ve had a nasty stomach bug that’s been prevalent in Central Pennsylvania. Now, people that know me personally may be wondering how in god’s name I got a virus when I never leave the house. Well, I do occasionally get out- namely, to Wal-Mart. Good chance I got it from the shopping cart. No one else in the house got sick, thankfully. The first 24 hours were the worst. I just started feeling better yesterday when I….wait for it….went to Wal-Mart to go grocery shopping. I wiped down the cart handle and thought I did pretty well. Then I got to the cashier. The cashier who had lost her freaking voice. At that moment I thought, there’s no way I’m getting punished two times in a row for going to Wal-Mart. LOL…..

So anyway…I’ve got some nail art for you all.

Algae-atic Sea by Octopus Party Nail Lacquer and stamping polishes by Pueen 1

Flamingo Nail Art using Octopus Party Nail Lacquer’s The Algae-atic Sea

So for this, I painted my ring and index fingers with 2 coats of The Algae-atic Sea by Octopus Party Nail Lacquer. I then painted my middle fingers with 2 coats of Whipped Frosting by Sinful Colors and my pinkies and thumbs with  2 coats of Rose Parade from Pueen’s Super Intense line of stamping polishes.

Warning! Rose Parade stained my nails with just one coat of base coat.

Once all was dry, the art-ing began! I used a really fun tropical plate from Born Pretty– BP-L076. I stamped some flamingos on my ring fingers using Rose Parade again. On my middle fingers, I double stamped some leaves using 2 more polishes from Pueen’s Super Intense line- Bright Yellow and Amazon Moss. I added some mint green and fluorescent pink studs from Born Pretty and some white Swarovskis from Ocean Nail Supply. I topped everything off with KBShimmer’s Oh Matte! matte top coat.

And that’s that! Thanks for stopping by the blog today!
