Hello, my lovely people! The week is starting to wrap up and I’m pretty excited! My anniversary with the boyfriend is this weekend. 18 years. I know. It’s ridiculous that we’re not married. The nugget decided to put in an appearance around the time the wedding was supposed to be and then it just hasn’t happened. I have my dress and everything….it’s too bad I weigh about 70 more pounds than when I got it. Lol. Well, anyway, the reason I’m excited is because we’re going to the Poconos this weekend. It’s only about an hour and a half away, so a one night stay is easily doable. We’ve never been there before and we’re staying in one of the resorts that has those heart-shaped Jacuzzis. Fun!!!
Sort-of Press Sample (top coat and Hope- reviewed before)
So I took a little break from reviewing. It does get tedious after a while. I don’t know how so many people pump that stuff out on a daily basis! My hat is off to you lovely ladies! Loaded Lacquer was a brand I always found myself drooling over. That’s why when I could finally afford a few bottles, I was bummed to find out that she closed shop. Tornado in a Trailer Park is a polish that I got in someone’s destash. The other polishes I want, no one will seem to part with. I just love the randomness of this polish. How Heather made this was whenever she had leftover glitter from whatever polish she made, she mixed all together. That is how you get this crazy mix of glitter! So here’s the glittery goodness that is Loaded Lacquer’s Tornado in a Trailer Park!

For this, I did 2 coats of Hope, a light to medium cement color, and then one coat of Tornado in a Trailer Park. On my first hand I didn’t need to fish for the bigger glitters, but did when I got to my other hand. For the ring finger, I just used a makeup sponge to dab the glitter on. When all was dry, I did a coat of Lucky 13 Lacquer’s We’re All Matte Here. I just love the look of glittery nails like this matted.

When I was finished, I wasn’t quite satisfied with the look of this. I did some VERY basic nail art, lol.

I took a fat piece of striping tape from Born Pretty and stuck it down the center of my nail. It didn’t stick the way I would’ve liked it to, so my line is a little wonky. I then did two quick, medium coats of Hope. Voila.
Okay, so both polishes I used are no longer for sale. If you really want either one, here’s how to do it. On Facebook, go to Gothic Gala Lacquer’s Mega Fan Club and post that you’re in search of Hope. Someone may oblige you. If you want TiaTP, go to either Loaded Lacquer’s FB fan group or Nearly No Rules Nail Polish group and post that you’re In Search of Tornado in a Trailer Park. If you want a great matte top coat, you can go to www.lucky13lacquer.com and grab We’re All Matte Here.
That’s all, folks! Thanks for stopping by the bloggo!
Congrats on 18 years. In March we celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary!!
I too feel that reviews are taking over my life..
This is very colourful indeed ♡

Thank you! I love getting stuff in the mail, but I mostly just want to do what *I* want to do, not a ton of reviews.
